For me, it is essential not only to develop new technologies, but also to successfully introduce them to the market and solve a customer problem to ultimately achieve real innovation. Further, I am passionate about design & web development as well as Machine Learning. Understanding and applying emerging technologies like Deep Learning to solve complex problems and thus advance society with new solutions is what motivates me the most. I have already worked in academic, corporate and startup environments, especially in the healthcare and aerospace industry.
Based on my interests and skills, I am highly motivated to work in an international, interdisciplinary and agile environment. I want to help leverage innovative technologies to achieve optimal results and improve the customer & user experience.

In my previous role as a Research Associate in the Biomechanics and Implant Technology Research Laboratory, I conducted experimental biomechanics research and contributed to advancements in implant technology. My work involved extensive 3D modeling and 3D ultrasound imaging to support the development of synthetic data for research applications. I managed a large-scale research project, overseeing its design, execution, and progress to ensure rigorous scientific standards and impactful outcomes.
As a Project Engineer, I played a key role in securing funding and acquiring strategic partners to advance project goals. I managed intellectual property considerations, contributing to both product development and lifecycle management. My responsibilities included overseeing project management activities and defining IT architecture to ensure robust, scalable solutions that aligned with project objectives and stakeholder requirements.
The PhD covered computational modelling, data collection and statistical analyses, morphological evaluations, system development and test bench design as well as bio-/mechanical testing and validation. The results were/will be published in two papers (first author) as well as a dissertation and further resulted in a patent application (co-inventor).
I have completed the PhD with the highest distinction (summa cum laude).
